About Language Switcher adding into custom layout

Hi,
I started to use your plugin as free and I wanted to show language switcher inside my astra pro custom layout. I enabled it from screen tips and added the language switcher inside a navigation menu but when I click it, it just doesn’T show anything, it’s like a link with no where to go.
I am pretty new for the setup and info about theme or polylang configuration but can you please help if it’s possible to add a switcher like this or what can I do for this request to make it happen?
