About PayPal IPN Changes – Everybody switch to HTTPS?

I have just received an email from Paypal about some changes being made soon.
It states that
On September 30, 2016 “IPN postbacks to http://www.paypal.com only allow HTTPS”

Is this something we need to take actions as shop owners? Do we need to switch to https if we want to continue using PayPal?
