• Hi, I’m new here and I really love this plugin that is so helpful to my website. I’m also using polylang plugin to implement multi-language switching, and I found that the form of wpDiscuz can be supported with the field “Language”, But the “phrases” doesn’t have this Language field, so whatever which language, all phrases are displayed in English.

I’d like to know that is there any way to configure or change the source code (if you can point out the location, I can change them by myself) to implement my requirement.

    Many Thanks.

    Hi mzysst,
I’m sorry but we’re not familiar with polylang plugin and wpDiscuz is not tested with this plugin yet. You should create comment forms for each language, form labels should be inserted with according language. After this wpDiscuz will load current language form with already translated comment field labels.

I use locotranslate to translate most plugins and create a new .po file, then use Polylang with great results.

You need to have several wpDiscuz forms, one for each language. I think wpDiscuz doesn’t use a general string for ‘Comment form header text’, so I have to set the translation for each language.

    Hope this helps.

Please don’t forget to enable “Use Po/MO translation files” option located in Dashboard > Comments > Settings admin page.
