About saving and emailing using multistep form module

Once I use https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/contact-form-7-multi-step-module/ this module and create two pages with each steps.

First steps asks generic questions, and then when user selects next , the data entered by the user in first step needs to be saved in Database and if the user doesn’t finish the second step in certain time limit, the user must get an email notification or follow up with link where the user can finish the second step as well.

how can we do this?

Why database saving: It is because if customer donot proceed with step 2, in step1 whatever data he submitted, we can manually call them and do followups to motivate him or her(the customer) to meet or else fill step2.

One more reason, why database saving, because i may be getting 500 to 600 users weekly and to followup with all the emails the plugins sends doesnot go great, another reason, if for some reason for 4 days my emails malfunctions, or mx records goes poor, i loose 100s of leads.
