About:Blank after removing adware

    Hi,

    I had malwares that redirects to another sites whenever I click anywhere on the site.
    With your plugin I erased 4 of them, and now the redirects are no longer active, but instead, if I click, the browser open and about:blank page completely empty.

    Do you have some advice for deleting this issue? I don’t understand what is left to delete.

    Thanks for reporting this. I am adding new threats to my definition update almost every day. I just added a new one today that goes with the other threats that you found on your site. Please update the definitions and run the Complete Scan again (or at least run the Quick Scan of the themes) to find this remaining threat.

    Please let me know what you find because I think there may be more and I want to get them added today.

    Done, unfortunately found nothing, just a read/write error on this path:

    wp-content/plugins/revslider/admin/views/templates/slider-main-options.php

    I think that the plugin deleted the redirect but somehow is still enabled somewhere a trigger that starts the about:blank page… any ideas?

    Are you sure you scan the themes directory and not just the plugins?

    I can see that they’re still some leftover script in your footer when you go to the site from a new IP address. Maybe you can send me the contents of the footer.php file of your theme?
