Absolutely Perfect!

This is the best maintenance plugin I have used. It is simple to set up with just the right amount of configuration options. You can add your own logos. Contrary to what some reviewers have said, there is NO advertising for the developer on the splash page – and it is the free version I am using.

Best of all, you can display a login on the splash page, enabling clients to view the site while it is in development. For this to work safely, you need to create a new WordPress user for the client with a secure password. Then in the plugin options, disable the admin bar. Give your client their login details. Then they can safely view the site by logging in as they will not be taken to the Dashboard.
