Also, talking about the SMS integration, i use a plugin for pre-orders. It makes the customers just beeing sending a booking request. And, once it is approved, he is now able pay.
Will the sms be sent for the request ? Or for the payment being made ?
Thanks.
Hey @yorobo,
Payment is required when making the booking, it’s not possible to make the payment after the booking was made.
If you plan on using Square or Stripe, you have the option to authorize the customer’s credit card and only charge it when accepting the booking. But this still requires the customer to enter his card details when making the booking.
You have the option to manually or automatically accept the booking, but if you do it manually it must be done from the WP Admin dashboard.

Hi. Thanks for your answer. Let me explain better please.
I plan to use your WooCommerce checkout plugin, associated with the plugin « SG Woocommerce Order Approval » by sevendigits (you can have a look on it here on the wordpress website).
It’s a plugin which totally replaces all the available payment methods by a « pre-order » button when a customer is trying to make a booking via WooCommerce (he is unable to pay).
So, when a customer click on « pre-order », the admin have the opportunity to approve or decline the request. Once it is approved, the customer can now see the payment methods and pay.
(See here: https://ibb.co/9p5bncy)
It is integrated with WooCommerce so i think (i hope) it will works with your WooCommerce checkout plugin.
In order to do not waste my sms credits for booking that will not being approved, that’s why i have these 2 questions:
1- Will the sms be sent on the pre-ordering process, or on the payment process (after being approved) ?
2- Is your WPBS plugin compatible with other classic sms integration for WooCommerce which use other gateways ?
Thanks 🙂

Hey @yorobo,
I understand now what you mean 🙂 This is a tricky one.
Technically it should work, but you will have to approve both the order in WooCommerce and the booking in our plugin.
The SMS notification is sent when the booking is created, not when it’s approved, so this won’t work. You could try using a SMS add-on for WooCommerce instead, or even both and just disable the SMS notification for new bookings.
