Thanks for reaching out.

When we’ve seen this error (403: access_denied) in the past, it usually means your app is set to testing mode. To resolve it, you’ll have to publish your app as shown in the Google mailer setup guide.

In case you haven’t done this already, within your Google Console (https://console.cloud.google.com/apis) project, please head over to the OAuth Consent screen section and then click Make External to publish your app.

Back in your WordPress admin area, you’ll need to connect to your Google account again by heading over to WP Mail SMTP > Settings and clicking on the button labeled Allow plugin to send emails using your Google account (https://a.supportally.com/FCADBa).
