having the same trouble was even on the phone with Google Analytics and they said the code just wasn’t showing up.. works with the Yoast plug in. BTW the plug in had been working for over a year… right now I have it disabled – any help/advise would be appreciated. Thanks!
I am having the same problem. Since update I am not getting Analytics stats and it keeps saying that I didn’t authorize the plugin even though I did multiple times. How to fix that?
What errors do you have in Errors & Debug screen?
It says ‘none’ errors… In my WP Dashboard there are analytics shown but in my GA account there are no analytics since I updated the plugin.
Ok, I just realized, it is showing my stats on All Website Data in G Analytics, but it’s not showing anything in my filtered view that I usually look at.

Here is the error I am getting…
(403) Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/data…
@scavenaugh you need to create a Google Analytics account first, see the documentation page for details.

I have an account. The plugin was working fine for weeks. Then all of a sudden it started doing this.
Post the entire Last error and Error details. FYI: my answer was based on your original post, since the last error you’ve posted was truncated.

I do not feel comfortable posting the entire thing on a public forum as you can imagine. But here it is with some portions removed.
Last Error: 2015-08-10 16:15:29: (403) Error calling GET https://www.googleapis.com/analytics/v3/data/ga?ids=ga%3A19394&start-date=30daysAgo&end-date=yesterday&metrics=ga%3Asessions&dimensions=&key=AIzaS_dsShSfRl_WY: (403) User does not have sufficient permissions for this profile.
Have you made any changes in your Google Analytics account, recently? Try to clear the authorization and authorize again.
FYI: There’s really nothing secret on the error listed above.

I cleared it. Reauthorized the plugin, clicked the link to get the access code, clicked accept on the permissions, copied the code, pasted it in, and clicked save access code. Then navigated to my dashboard and scrolled down to GA dash and it could not pull the data and showed error 403. Went back to the plugin and the error was the same as previously mentioned.
When you go to https://www.google.com/analytics/web/, can you enter into the account and have at least one Property there?

Yes. My site is already there and reporting data.
