I lost access to my site dashboard. Does anybody know how I can re-access, I get the ‘error 500’ message when trying to connect via wp-admin. My site is hosted on a Synology NAS. I have cleared all cookies, I have no idea what has happened. Prior to this I was getting Captcha errors and clearing my cache seemed to allow the system to catch up.

    Hi @innermindmagic

Can you please cross check enabling debug log by defining WP_DEBUG true in wp-config.php and cross check if any error showing in error log ?

You may try check if any thing regarding AIOS making issue. by removing plugin and its related .htaccess and other changes.

    1. remove the plugins files /wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall

    2. Please also remove from .htaccess all code between,

“BEGIN All In One WP Security”

“END All In One WP Security”

    3. Also make sure that wp-config.php. , htaccess, .user.ini file in root of the wordpress installed directory do not include the aios-bootstrap.php
and remove aios-bootstrap.php from the same folder you have wp-config.php

    Regards
