When I logged into the site I received the following message:
Access key is not valid, update the plugin settings. Anti-Spam by CleanTalk.

When going to settings I found the following error message:
Jan 19 2026 05:43:30: Error occurred while Access key validating. Testing is failed. Please check the Access key.

I logged onto CleanTalk dashboard requested a new key and entered it in the settings, but received the same error message. So, at the moment nothing is working.

    Can you please assist.

    Hello updesignme,

One of these actions may help you:

    1. Check whether cURL support is enabled in php.ini on your web server. You can ask about this your webmaster or your hosting provider.
    2. Check if our IPs are available from your webserver: https://cleantalk.org/help/cleantalk-servers-ip-addresses (points 1-3).
    3. WordPress Admin Page → Settings → Anti-Spam by CleanTalk → Advanced settings → change the “Use WordPress HTTP API” option → Save Changes.

After each action click “Synchrinize with Cloud” in the plugin settings, wait until the rotating icon disappears and refresh the page. Is there a result?

    Hello @updesignme,

To help us diagnose the connection issues between your site and our servers, could you please execute the following two commands:

    1. ping api.cleantalk.org
    2. ping moderate.cleantalk.org

Once completed, please copy and paste the results back to us.

    Thank you.
