    Good morning.

I have a problem with wordpress mobile app.

When I try to add a site, I put the address Mysite.com, then enter username and password and an error appears: it seems that this username or password is not associated with this site. On desktop it works.
Thank you for all possible help

Check whether the XMLRPC interface is activated. If you are using a security plugin, this could be deactivated. Some hosters also deactivate it.

I have enabled XMLRPC but it does not work anyway, could it be that the access to the site is not through the classic link (wp-admin)?
I have made sure that it is http://www.mysite.com/alternativeAddress to access the username and password panel.
If I put only http://www.mysite.com recognizes the site as wordpress, then not accept username and password, error message: username and password not associated with the site.

    Thank you very much

The way you hide the admin area could also change the XMLRPC interface. Disable it and test it without it. In my opinion, the admin area can be secured much more effectively with 2FA or Basic Auth.

good morning, I tried disabling the alternate address and following your advice, unfortunately it still does not recognize the username and password, the error says they do not match…
I completely disabled the security plug-in and it works. There must still be something blocking access from the app.

If I understand correctly, it works without a security plugin. Which one do you use exactly?
