    Hello
Fantastic plugin and I hope I can manage to use it.
I have been searching for a way to control access and visibility.
In the old set up we had, things were a lot simpler but things change, customers want more so we have to change with it.
Our set up is as follow:
    We have 3 custom roles, let’s say A, B, C
I need to be able to limit access to a custom post type that A can create to only certain users of role B and C that will be selected by Role A.
So I found a plugin called CPT-onomies that gave me the idea of creating a custom post type call Portal and allow Role B to create it.
This will automatically become a term in taxonomy called Portal as well.
Create a UG for each B role and add the right user of C role. If I am understanding things correctly Levels are set by user groups.
Basically, each B role manages few C roles.
Then restrict access to each term by associated UG.
Then I proceed to add this taxonomy to Role A custom post type where they will select the ones they want (I should add the name of Portal will be the same as the role B username for simplicity)Ideally, I would have loved to be able to create some kind of favorited list for each user of Role A, but being new to WordPress, have not found the way yet.
    Can this achieve my goal???
I want to use capability and allow role A see the portals.

The only problem I have is that I need Role A to only see their own content in the portal and not others content.
How can I achieve this?? Can I do this through capability, like not give them permission to read_others or something like that.
I am sorry, I am new to WordPress and coming from Drupal, I am still getting used to the permission set up.

Unless there is an easier and better way??
I would appreciate any advice or help on this.
    Thank you in advance.

If I understand you correctly, you want certain user groups to be able to create/edit certain sections of your site?
This plugin does not have functionality for that use case, but you can take a look at: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/press-permit-core/

Currently Restrict User Access has functionality to restrict certain sections on your site (e.g. per page or category) and set up site-wide capatbilities.

Let me know if this answers your question.

    Hello
    Actually, it is just read.
But I will look at presspermit as well and see how it goes.
    Thank you.
