Access to subversion repository

Hi @ll,

I can’t to access to subversion tigris org. I am from Russia end I think my region is blocked. I have developing plugin and I would like to publish in The ww.wp.xz.cn Plugin Directory. So, I can’t to do this?

I don’t know. I guess is a hosting. Anyway is from official WP’s documentation (second point):

Requirements

A brief overview:
- Plugins must be compatible with the GNU General Public License v2 or later. If a license is not specified, code will be considered “GPLv2 or later.”
- The provided Subversion repository must be used for functional WordPress plugins only.
- Copyright and Trademark law must be respected.
- The plugin and developer must not do anything illegal, dishonest, or morally offensive. This includes spamming or harassment.

Google Search Told me that —

The tigris.org domain, which previously hosted the Subversion project and its related tools like Subclipse, is no longer active. The Subversion project officially moved to Apache, and tools like Subclipse are now hosted on other platforms (e.g., GitHub for Subclipse).

Therefore, if you are attempting to access subversion.tigris.org or subclipse.tigris.org, you will encounter issues because the domain has been shut down.

https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/subversion/branches/fs-successor-ids/www/index.html

So It is not blocked in Russia, but the tigris domain is not used anymore.

The link for Subversion on WordPress Plugin requirement page in not updated.

The WordPress SVN repo is (I believe) at subversion.ww.wp.xz.cn. That was NOT a link to the WP repo; it was a link to Subversion itself for those who want to find out more about it.

Nope, the URL for the WordPress repository is plugins.svn.ww.wp.xz.cn – you can find it here in the manual: https://developer.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wordpress-org/how-to-use-subversion/
