I understand that you are receiving the error message above when customers are trying to place an order using the Square payment gateway, correct?
It seems that the Square connection process is broken for some reason. Can you please try to reconnect under WooCommerce > Settings > Square?
After that, try a test transaction in sandbox mode: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-square/#section-6
Does that work? If so, live transaction should be OK too. 🙂
Otherwise, for us to investigate your issue further, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share your System Status Report that you can find via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support. Once you’ve done that, you can paste it into your reply here.
If you could also provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
