I have been using your plugin for a few years to display our facebook feed but recently I am getting the following error..

#104 – An access token is required to request this resource. Here are some possible solutions to fix the error.

    I am using the following shortcode [fts_facebook type=page id=CriticalHealthcareLtd posts=6 description=yes posts_displayed=page_only]

I have clicked on the ‘Login and Get my access token’ Button, allowed SlickRemix to manage my Facebook pages and even received the message ‘You’ve now linked SlickRemix to Facebook’.. But when I go back to the settings the ‘Access Token Required’ field remains empty and the error persists?

Can someone let me know what is going wrong please?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hey @bayjayzus,
Sorry for the troubles. After you click to get the access token is it redirecting you back to the site automatically?

Can you please copy and paste to me the Report from the System Info page of our plugin? Click here if you are unsure how to do this. https://www.slickremix.com/docs/system-info-page/

Also, maybe try see if this fixes the problem:

    1. Please login to your Facebook account and go to the settings area (usually top right corner) then click “Business Integrations” check the box for SlickRemix and then click the Remove button.

    2. Now go to the Facebook Options page of our plugin. To ensure new token gets added delete out the old token input fields and then go to the bottom of the page and click save.

    3. After the page refreshes, click the button to get a new Access Token and click Save All Changes at the bottom of the page.

    4. Delete the cache from the Settings > Global Options tab of our plugin Feed Them and any other caching plugins you may have active.

    5. Refresh Page.

Let me know if that works.

    Thanks,
    Justin

    Hi

    Thanks for the reply

On confirming access granted to slick Remix, Facebook is then redirecting me to the Facebook home page. I then have to manually reopen the FTS setting in wordpress which has no access token information. Is this what you meant?

    Hey @bayjayzus,
Just curious are you admin or have admin permissions with the account you are trying to display. If not due to privacy rules facebook changed last year you now have to have admin of the facebook page you are trying to show.

Let me know if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Justin

Yes I am logging in with the credentials used to set up the account.

Make sure your personal facebook account is what you are using to try and get the token. Using the business account login does not work at this time. You need to make your personal facebook account be the admin for the page you want an access token. You will know it is working proper when you are returned to our plugin instead of facebook just returning you to the fb home page. Let me know if that helps.
