    Hi,

    I’m exploring Lifter LMS on WordPress to host our online course. I want to make sure this platform is accessible for everyone and that it works with screen readers. Does anyone have experience with that platform and if it’s screen reader accessible?

    Thanks!

  • @tsmookler,

    We do our best to follow HTML best practices around screen readers. The generated content on the front-end of your site (your courses and so on) are mostly generated by your theme and the WordPress core so I doubt you’ll have any a11y issues there.

    I will confess that I am pretty certain some areas of the backend of LifterLMS (our course builder for one) are going to have some issues on screen readers.

    I’d urge you to give it a shot though. It’s free and only costs your time.

    If you find some specific issues please let me know so I can fix those for you!

    Thanks – so just to clarify, the front end would be ok but the backend might be challenging? I am most concerned with the user, not the backend.

    Thanks!

    @tsmookler,

    Correct
