When I run the report here: http://wave.webaim.org/report#/eucalyptus.org
I come up with this error flag that is from the translate plugin:

    1 X Missing form label

How can I fix this or is this something that can be implemented and released in the next update? This is one of many sites I use this plugin on. I am more than happy to insert the code if someone can show me. 🙂

    Thank you!!

    Greetings,

the link you posted doesn’t seem to be working, so it’s not clear what’s the issue you’re facing.

Please verify the link is working and let us know.

You mentioned you’re using the plugin in many sites, is this issue present in every site, or only this particular one?

    Regards

Oh shoot I am so sorry about that!

Run eucalyptuselementary.org through the tool so you can see the errors I am getting. Sorry! I should have explained that better! The error is the same on every site I use the plugin on.

    Thank you for helping me!!

    Greetings,

thanks, it works now. The message says:

…the function or purpose of that form control may not be presented to screen reader users…

This site wave webaim is a tool to test accessibility, which gives you suggestions based on generic algorithms. As the above message says, the “purpose of that form control may not be presented”, but as you also see in your sites, you can clearly see what’s the purpose because you can see “Select language”.

So you don’t need to worry about that message. Besides, there’s no way to add a label for that form control, as it’s generated dynamically from Google’s servers. So I hope you understand that only Google can change that; and most likely they will never add such label as it’s pretty much pointless.

    Hello,

Thank you SO MUCH for that, that answers everything and gives me something to answer back with when we have our audit. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain that for me.

    Have a great weekend!
