Hi, I posted this help enquiry a week ago now and as yet no reponse. Please respond as soon as possible – my client is waiting to launch his shop and without the ‘upload my file’ plugin working – the shop cannot sell its goods.

    Thank you!

    Hello Hennyb,

We always try to respond asap, but sometimes this takes a while because we have to make some priorities. Please be kind with us when we can’t manage it in the timeframe you probably expected. There is always a possibility to buy priority support from our website. Our helpdesk makes a difference between “users” and “customers”.

    Now back to your question.
As far as I can see from your URL I think the upload path is not correct. You can correct this from the plugin settings.
The upload path should be correct on initial setup, but on some hosts and WP installations this doesn’t work.

Please check your upload path or change it in your own location.

    Best regards,
    Bart

    HI Bart,

    Thank you for your reply.

The upload path area in the plugin settings is greyed out so I am guessing I will have to become a customer of the plugin before I can use this functionality?

I am using a woo commerce theme and woo commerce shopping cart but I cannot vouch for my server host settings. And when you say ‘correct path’ – can you give me an example of what this path / directory normally is? Or, what I need to ask my server company to do to help make it compatible.

I not only would like this plugin to work – I need it to work – therefore i will most certainly buy the Pro version but I need further guidance / lamens terms please.

    Many thanks indeed

    Regards

    Hello Hennyb,

Normally the upload path is the same path as your WP installation, it should be in the directory /wp-content/uploads/umf/. Our plugin uses a absolute path to upload the files.

This totally depends on your server configuration and WP installation. That’s why I can’t give you a full example path.In a good environment you don’t have to change this path.

PRO is available from our website, we have a 30 days money refund if you’re not happy with your purchase.
