I accidentally tampered with permalinks in the settings and now the only option I can’t get the default links to work. I am currently working offline on a localhost using WAMP. I’d greatly appreciate if someone could help me return my links back to the default “localhost/mysite/examplepage” format. I’m not very familiar with making websites so a simple explanation would be wonderful. Thank you.

I have attempted to look up how to fix this problem but I haven’t come across anything that remotely works.

I just recently tried going into Apache > httpd.conf and change things up based on another post and now WAMP won’t come online at all.

Delete the .htaccess file in the directory for that site and then just select the post name permalink type and save changes. This will rebuild the .htaccess file.

    Cheers!
