    This happens very often, accounts get disconnected and I have to reconnect them again.. is this because of the FREE version? Does the premium version not expire?

    • Personal tokens that have not been used in 60 days expire upon non-renewal.

    How is it being determined if it is being used or not? When loaded on the website?

    • In the case of personal tokens, our plugin will try to perform an automatic renewal ten days before the expiration date.

    I do see the PERSONAL type in the connection but none of the websites are being renewed automatically and it keeps getting disconnected… Please clarify it.

    @ayrancd Hi mate,

    The issue you’re describing, is not due to the free version of the plugin. Both the free and premium versions are affected by Instagram’s token expiration policies.

    To resolve this, you can simply reconnect the account by removing and re-adding it in the plugin. This will refresh the token and allow the account to reconnect.

    If you’re using personal tokens, this process is necessary for revalidation. Unfortunately, the automatic renewal sometimes doesn’t work as expected due to restrictions from Instagram’s API, so manual re-validation is required.
