Hi @nanny7,
You can retrieve values stored in an ACF field using the post_meta key shortcode in your Formidable field. Here is the method you would use to do that:
https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/using-dynamic-default-values-in-fields/#kb-post-meta
Some of the more advanced ACF fields cannot be mapped with Formidable, but a contact name (text) and email field should be fine. You can find a list of all the Formidable field types that map easily to ACF fields here:
https://formidableforms.com/knowledgebase/create-posts/integrate-advanced-custom-fields/#kb-easy-integration-acf-fields
Hope that helps!

Hi late reply but have tried it and all it does is create new posts which is not what I want.
I want to use the acf shortcode [acf field=”field_name” post_id=”123″]
to be used as the email address so that it is easier for the client.
It has to be dynamic for them so I don’t have to teach multiple people how to use formidable forms.
The post_meta_key doesn’t work either. The form field is from ACF not formidable contact form.
Unless I have done it all wrong 🙁
Hi @nanny7
Since you are using the Pro version of Formidable, could you please open a ticket in our helpdesk here: https://formidableforms.com/new-topic/
I’m afraid we only support the free version of our plugin here.
Best,
Nathanael.
