    Hi,

I’m taking care of a client’s website and I have the following problem. After I create and save a Form the HTML for the submit button disappears.

I’ve already checked by caps (unfiltered_html is true) and it is not a multisite network.

    Some infos about the site:
    – it is using the Divi Theme
    – Latest version of ACF is installed
    – Ultimate Member is used for membership management

Please let me know if you need further information.

    Regards

    Hello,

Thanks for the feedback. Are you talking about ACF Form or ACF Extended Form?

If it is ACF Extended Form, please send me a screenshot of your “submit button” configuration (with the code, before it disappear).

    Have a nice day!

    Regards.

    Hi,

thanks for the quick response. I’m talking about ACFE Form!

Here is a screenshot of my configuration:

Unfortunately it disappears after save. I didn’t have problems with the plugin on other sites. I tried to disable Divi already but it didn’t make any differences.

    Thanks!

PS: I like the new Form layout! Very cool with the Actions in the first tab!

    Hello!

Thanks for the screenshot! Everything seems fine in your configuration. Do you redirect to a specific page on submission? or did you left the “Redirection” setting empty?

Can you please tell me where do you display the form? Are you using acfe_form() function or [acfe_form] shortcode? Can you show a me screenshot of that?

Additionally, you can join the ACF Extended community on Slack, I’m always connected there, and it will be easier to discuss/share screenshots in private there.

Here is an invitation link: https://join.slack.com/t/wpacf/shared_invite/enQtODc2MjczMzM3NzQ1LTQxNmY2ZGY3OTU2NDkxNTliYmNhMmY1NDMwZGM4NmYxNzgwZTI5MDUzMDFlMGQ5YzcwNDc0ZWM0MDVmODI4NmI

    Thanks in advance.

Note: In your screenshot, it looks like you don’t use the latest WP version (input border are the old one < 5.3). Have you tried to update WP?

    Regards.

    Hello,

After a discussion with the ticket’s author, the problem comes from an another plugin “ACF Form Shortcode” which run wp_kses() on a wildcard hook acf/update_value.

Disabling the plugin fix the issue.

I posted an issue on the plugin’s GitHub: https://github.com/jonathan-dejong/acf-form-shortcode/issues/7

But the plugin hasn’t been updated since 4 years, so I don’t know what to expect, really.

    Regards.
