• Hi there,

There has in the past been a similar enquiry about this:
    https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/display-icon-field-in-elementor/

I am building a website using Elementor and certain pages require posts to have a specific icon assigned to them so that it can be used in a posts loop (similar to how a featured image would be used).

ACF Integrates directly into Elementor, allowing users to directly select custom fields and the data from the field will be output on the page.
    IMG:

Unfortunately, as you can see, the Icon field does not show up in this list for some reason, so I can’t output the icon to the page. (I can use an alternative method to output the field’s value, but the only option that actually displays something is the icon class, and then it only displays the class as text).

It would be very useful, in fact essential to us, to have a way of displaying the actual icon through either a custom Elementor widget (probably best for full/friendly Elementor integration), or through the ACF selector shown above.

This seems to be the only plugin available that allows users to have a custom icon in ACF, and would be happy to even pay to upgrade to a premium version just to get the Elementor integration so that we can display the icon on the frontend of the website.

I hope you can help on this one!

    Thanks!

    Hi estage,

Unfortunately I don’t think I am the right person to build/maintain this for the Elementor community as I am not a user of that platform. This plugin is of course open source so if anyone decides to take on that project they are free to take/use any code they need from this plugin to accomplish their goals. Although I will warn that this plugin is pretty tightly integrated with ACF so things may not translate very directly to other implementations.
