We have users who select specific industries and other designations from select or checkbox lists during registration, and then we want to send emails based on those criteria when things come up. If I were to use the ACF and Mailchimp addons, would it be possible to automatically add a user to a specific Mailchimp list or segmentation as part of the signup process?

Good day and thanks for writing in! Indeed, it would be best to automatically subscribe them to a Mailchimp list to avoid further back and forth or additional steps to do so.

Thanks for the link and response! It seems like they will have to choose a list to subscribe to during registration, is that right? So I wouldn’t be able to automatically add them to a list based on an option they choose in an ACF field?
