ACF plugin conflict

    There is a conflict with the plugin Advanced Custom Fields. When this plugin is activated, the custom fields from ACF do not appear in the menu item.

    I played around a teeny tiny bit and noticed it is your custom nav walker that does not allow ACF fields to appear.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for the interest in If Menu plugin!

    This problem happens because of limited functionality in WordPress itself. Menu items don’t have the full extendability like any other areas of WP, and sometimes a plugin overwrites features added by others. https://core.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/ticket/18584

    Looks like it’s the case here as well. The solution is for both plugin developers to implement a fix, which If Menu already includes. We’ll contact the developers of ACF and hopefully the plugin will get a update that makes it compatible with If Menu.
