Action Scheduler tables doesn’t exist

    Hello.

    Similar problem to this and this.

    I don’t have Woocommerce nor Action Scheduler plugin on my website. When I activate the WP Mail SMTP plugin, my webiste crashes. https://prnt.sc/tkhhdm

    Looks like 4 tables are missing:

    wp_actionscheduler_actions
    wp_actionscheduler_claims
    wp_actionscheduler_groups
    wp_actionscheduler_groups

    I tried this troubleshoot but it fails in step 2 when I try to activate de Action Scheduler plugin, showing the same message that I don’t have those 4 Action Scheduler tables.

    Can you please help with this situation?

    @blankenho,

    After several hours of trial and error testing, we were able to get V2.2.1 to work for us.

    Click here for a procedure that may solve your problem. While you many not have the same plugin that caused our conflict (“Admin Custom Login”), you many have another plugin that is.

    Let us know if the above solves you issue.

    PS: Still haven’t received a detailed response from the developer explaining the purpose of the added “actionscheduler” tables, much less their benefits. In my opinion, there are NOT required for websites that do not use WooCommerce. As recommended to the developer, the tables should be optional and added to the website only if selected via the Settings section of the plugin.

    Update:

    While the procedure (link) provided above works for us, we performed additional testing and noticed V2.1.1 (and up) continue to impact our website speed, etc.

    Based on the above, and since we don’t use WooCommerce, we have deprecated our website to V2.0.1 of this plugin. I would recommend the same to others having the same issue.

    We will update to V2.1.1 (or above) when all bugs are taken care of (for those who don’t use WooCommerce).
