I have activated them on the option Settings and Discussion, “Allow people to post comments on new articles”,
Also, where you create/edit posts or pages in admin, check if you have ticked comments for your posts/pages in the “discussion” box below the editor. If you don’t see the “discussion” box there, in the ‘screen option’ dropdown field (located near the top right), there are tick-boxes to show the ‘discussion’ box for the posts/pages. Tick mark it. In the ‘discussion’ box below the post/page editor, you can then allow/disallow comments for the page.

I’ve followed your steps and now if I choose a post, I can now see the box to leave comment. However it does not show up on the main page, where we can read all the posts.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I’m fairly new to blogging and I am having a problem insert the option to leave comment on posts.
I have activated them on the option Settings and Discussion, “Allow people to post comments on new articles”, but I still can’t see the option “leave a comment” where I go to the Blog.
