activate eAccelerator for W3 Total Cache

    my website using W3 Total Cache. As I need to use eAccelerator cache but I am suffering because can not select the Page Cache Method: to Opcode : eAccelerator.

    My eAccelerator v0.9.5.3 is already installed but when I am checking with the
    php -r “var_dump(function_exists(‘eaccelerator_put’));”

    it returns false

    I have access to root and SSH. please help me ( my hosting provider said he does not know about much this area ) please help

    if I need to change the eAccelerator ini file I can

    or need to install or change by SSH please describe me step by step since I am not a linux guru
