Activate problem

    I can’t activate the plugin.
    Fatal error: Can’t use method return value in write context in /wp-content/plugins/business-directory-plugin_/includes/fields/class-fieldtypes-textarea.php on line 424

    And the line 424 says:

    if ( 1 == $excerpt_override || ( 2 == $excerpt_override && empty( $f->value( $listing_id ) ) ) ) {

    Whats wrong? Please help! It worked in MAMP. Then I moved my site to my server and so it became the problem!

    Hi @casa1,

    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    That error you’re seeing comes from having a version of PHP that is older that version 5.6. BD and WP support PHP 5.6 and higher.

    If you upgrade your PHP version at your hosting company, you’ll see that error disappear.
