How do you activate yoast on elementor archive pages build with the theme builder?
I’ve searched old forums for an answer, but keep seeing this solution:
WordPress > Yoast SEO > Search Appearance > Content Types.

But I don’t have a “Search Appearance” in my sidebar. Can it be a yoast update?

    Hello @emilat

Thanks for using the Yoast SEO plugin. The Yoast SEO content analysis is not available on Elementor template pages; it works on normal Posts and Pages, though.

However, an issue report is currently open in our development repository to extend Yoast SEO to add support for the Elementor Templates.

I’m trying to add a meta title and description to my category archives.
For instance “shirts”. I find it very hard to believe that it isn’t possible to add meta data to a simple category page. Can that really be true?

Can you tell me what it means when it says:
“You’re now able to perform SEO on archive pages” next to the green check mark on this page? https://yoast.com/features/elementor/

    Hello @emilat

I’m sorry for the confusion. You can edit your product category and perform SEO. But you can’t edit them in the Elementor pagebuilder
