activating a new role

    Can anyone help , rapid loss of hair !
    I have created a new user called Subscriber and given new3 roles like publish and delete posts.But when i log in to this role is show none of these on the dashboard, Can someone kind;y tell me what.s missing please. Rgds Nick

    Hi John, thanks for your quick reply,
    I am using the dashboard on the left of the website after Iv’e logged in as administrator

    Hi Nick,

    Can you be more specific on what roles you’ve given the users? There are only the following WordPress roles (unless you have a plugin etc)

    Administrator
    Editor
    Author
    Contributor
    Subscriber

    I think you have answered my question.
    I should have used an existing user and edited the roles?

    I made another user and added roleds but they would not show on the bar when I logged in as that user….

    Make it simple..Use a plugin User role Editor
