You’ll need to edit your theme’s page.php file and add <?php comments_template();?> where you want your comment form to appear. If you are working with the default theme, I strongly recommend that you make a copy of the theme and customise your copy rather than the default.

Thanks. I’m brand new at this but have to start sometime. I am working with the default theme. Thanks again.
Esmi…One more question? Do you have any idea how I lost the comment feature, so it doesn’t happen again?? I posted and made a test comment which is still in the archives. Thanks
PS. One thing I did was to rename the blog to the name of my website, because I want the blog to be another page of the site. Wouuld that have done it?
Ok, Esmi…Forget my last question…I was able to use your suggestion and got the comments back, but they are on all pages and I just want them on the blog page. I went to Settings>discussion and unchecked the top three permissions for the other pages, but that didn’t work. Any more ideas? Thanks.
Since Esmi’s not available, can anyone else help me with this question? How can I delete the “comment” feature from all but one page? The admin>settings>discussion indicates that it can be overwritten but now how to do it. Thanks.
Thanks. I found the answer to how to delete the comments feature on any page. Blessings
Thank you both, I had the same question and now answer.
Scroll down on the Edit Page – Editor – under “Discussion” uncheck the “Allow Comments” box. Works the same for each Post also.
