    Hello,
I’m using the free version of Complianz.
I want to activate “Consent per Service, so the user can decide which marketing tool he wants to allow and so on.
Your documentation says you activated it with v6.1, I have 6.3.1 running – but I don’t find the option to activate Consent per seervice on my site.
Referred to this article: https://complianz.io/all-about-consent-per-service-category-or-cookie/ … but there is no explanation how to do that.
Or is it a premium feature?
    Regards,
    Lars

    Hi @blubbubb,

This is included in the Free plugin as well, you can enable the option under Complianz > Wizard > Consent > Services > “Do you want to enable Consent per Service…?”

    Hope it helps!
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi Jarno,
thanks for you quick reply! Oh yeah, now I found it.
But: I activated this option and did a new scan – then Complianz meant to find 88 (!) cookies, all Social Media, Google Fonts etc … they are definetely not active on my site …
I now switched to the Cookie Banner of Usercentrics. I will test that behaviour on another site soon, where I also use Complianz and report, if this occurs again.
    But thanks anyway,
    Best, Lars

So … now I tested on another site. The scan performs well, but although I categorised Google Analytics and activated “Consent by service”, I still have no option in the Cookie-Banner to select or deselect the specific service – do you provide any tutorials how to configure it correctly? I don’t find the documentation very intuitive …
    Thanks in advance

    Hi @blubbubb,

When you indicate that your website uses a specific third-party service (under Complianz > Wizard > Consent > Services), Complianz will list that service and the cookies that might be set as a result of using the service, on your Cookie Policy document. It could be that not every single one of the Cookies belonging to that particular service are always getting set when visiting your website, but these will be listed on your Cookie Policy.

When activating Consent per Service, the displayed services on your Cookie Policy will get a checkbox for users to granularly select which ones they (do not) wish to consent to. It also allows the visitor to consent to a specific service, instead of consenting to the entire Marketing category, by clicking the placeholder of that blocked service (i.e. YouTube). Your Cookie Banner will still display the purpose categories.

Please also see our earlier article on the subject for further details: https://complianz.io/all-about-consent-per-service-category-or-cookie/

    Hope this helps!
    Kind regards,
    Jarno
