• Hi

I would like to use the option Moderate registration so I can accept users based on their details.

I have an existing woocommerce store, so I can see via this article I need to active all my other users – https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/docs/registration/moderating-registration/.

My question is though what happens when I customer orders something and they create a normal “wordpress/woocommerce customer account” – do I then need to activate this user as well?

I had a play about with the settings, once I had ticked moderate registration and then went and created a new customer account for woocommerce, I still needed to active that user. Is there a way around this? Does setting the utility script in the function.php file make any newly created “customers” as active automatically?

    Hope that makes sense!

    Thanks
    Heather

hi, really just wanted to say I’ve had a play about with this and activated all my users with the code in functions.php.

Then I created a user account for use in the woocommerce shop, but this user needs to be activated by me. So thats not really going to work for me unfortunately.

As I want anyone wanting to use the membership area to not be activated straight away as I want to approve them, but I don’t want to have to approve my shop customers.

is there any way around this? So that subscribers need to be approved but customers don’t?

    Thanks
    Heather
