Activating Jetpack Crashes Admin Panel

    As soon as I go to activate Jetpack (i’ve tried the newest update and the old), it crashes my wordpress admin panel. All I see is a white screen, and I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall wordpress on my server several times to even get my admin panel to come up again.

    I have also tried on WordPress 3.4.2 (stable), with both versions of the plugin.

    I have Jetpack on my other site (same server, different directory folder) and I’ve never encountered any problems before. What is going on?
