Activating Jetpack get HTTP error 403
-
I have migrated from one host company to a new one. Everything has gone smoothly with the exception of Jetpack activation. I try to set up jetpack however I keep getting a HTTP error code.
My security is Cloudflare which I pay for. I have asked CF several times what I should do and they just sent me an article which is gibberish to me. I have told them this and they reply, “the article will walk you through fixing this issue” and “jetpack and CF should play nicely”.
I am also using Wordfence for security. I have deactivated WF but I receive the same message about the HTTP error 403.
I have contacted my new host and they refer me back to the same CF article that CF sent me. None of the steps in the guide match my current CF Firewall page. So following the steps make no sense.
Okay, I am a 64-year old guy who just wants jetpack to work and someone else has had to have had this issue in the past that can help me. Thank you.
