First of all, I absolutely love the maps. They work amazing, intuitively and are just what I was looking for!

Problem is, they do not work together with the Arcade Basic theme, that I also love:
Activating your NWM plugin (even without using any shortcodes to display the maps) does break the page headers in the theme. The front page however still works fine. All other pages look as if I had javascript deactivated.
If I then add [nwm_map] to the pages, the front page still renders perfectly including the map. On the other broken pages however maps do not occur, only [nwm_list] works.

I got two workarounds which I both don’t like: Changing the theme or deactivating NWM plugin 😉

I am new to WordPress so I have no idea yet how things work together on the technical level. Especially that already the activation of a plugin without even using it can break a theme makes me puzzle. I have no other plugins activated and not modified anything unusual. I hope you can point me into the right direction how I can make it work together 🙂

    Thanks a lot,
    Jonas

Is this the theme you are talking about? https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/arcade-basic ?

Do you have an url where I can see this? I installed the theme and tried it, but I don’t see any errors, or problems with the theme.

It works fine on the “home” page, but on “Blog” the theme is broken and on “Travelmap” I try to display the map and lists but only the list is working.

It looks like the template files are broken, the html structure is invalid. If you check it in Firefox with ctrl+u you see it just suddenly ends. So I would double check the template files in your theme, or if you didn’t change anything ask the theme author about it.

I completely reinstalled wordpress, the theme and your plugin and since then everything worked just perfectly fine.

I couldn’t figure out the actual source of the problem but all what matters is that it’s working now. Thanks a lot for your worries and for pointing out the broken html structure.

    Cheers, Jonas
