Thanks for your plugin, however we have a problem

When I activate Import and export users and customers (Version 1.16.1.1 and previous version), “something” causes a fatal error on buddyboss member profile pages

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined method BP_XProfile_Group::get_group_meta()
in /home/mywebsite/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddyboss-platform/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-repeaters.php on line 857

it also breaks adding an xprofile group in admin with a permission not allowed error

with the import plugin activated a prompt normally seen in the create new xprofile group screen to control ‘repeater’ fields does not display

no action other than activating/deactivating the import plugin dictates error. this is a wordpress multisite with import plugin activated on per site

OK the problem comes because you are not using the standard BuddyPress core. It seems you are using BuddyBoss and it works in a different way maybe.

Have you tried with BuddyPress without BuddyBoss?

Buddypress does not have the problem when it was enabled. specific to buddyboss

Have you talked with BuddyBoss support? Error raise there no in our code.

I have been trying to find this file in BuddyPress but I cannot find it.

buddyboss-platform/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-repeaters.php

Does not exist in BuddyPress: https://plugins.trac.ww.wp.xz.cn/browser/buddypress/#trunk/bp-xprofile

Where is the project BuddyBoss it seems this is not free plugin, isn’t it?

Hi –

Buddyboss is a fork of Buddypress with modifications. It is becoming more and more popular. While not distributed on WP repository it does have a free version. https://www.buddyboss.com/platform/

I have tested and it fails if you have BuddyPress activated or installed at the same time than BuddyBoss.

If you delete BuddyPress it works.

Hi – thanks for taking the time to look into this.

It must be caused by a buddypress addon plugin or a left over database table (I don’t have buddypress installed – but did before, and have active plugins for added functionality)

I’ll need to systematically disable things and see what happens

Yes the problem must be it.

In our case, deactivating BuddyPress is enough.

Deleting the buddypress plugin was bringing a conflict with buddyboss. After deleting the plugin the error disappeared.
