Activating Plugins in 2.7

    The question is how do you activate an uploaded plugin in the new wp 2.7 version?
    I uploaded cforms and can’t find it, in fact I don’t see how one gets to any of the plugins.
    Please advise!

    Hi, In the dashboard, you should now have a sidebar on the left which lists all the options, hope you get there.

    Thanks for the help; but, no there is no sidebar in the dashboard.

    Hi Ken, can you let us know what you can see on your dashboard, do you have two columns showing, if so it just means you need to open the far left column.

    Hello Mike: I do have two columns showing under the term “Dashboard” but there is no “left” menu. Also, when you say “open the far left column”…I must admit I don’t know how to do that.

    Please advise, and I do appreciate your help!

    Hello Ipstenu:

    I see from your post the left-most column under the blue heading of Dashboard that lists everything I’m looking for, the problem for me is that that column does not show up on the site I upgraded to 2.7., it simply is not there.

    I don’t know how to open that column, how do I do that?

    Do you have a very thin column with just icons or no column at all?

    If you have none at all, is this WP 2.7 an upgrade or a new install?

    If it’s an upgrade, how did you upgrade (manually copy up, plugin core update, fantastico, etc)?
