Activating Subscribe 2 makes comments messed up

    Hi,

    After I activated Subscribe 2 plugin, my bloc comments are messed up. The text color of the comments are set to white. While the comments are actually there, they don’t appear on the while background but selecting them shows that they actually exist.

    For your information, I am using “Comments Evolved for WordPress” plugin as well for my blog. All the plugins and wordpress version are latest. Deactivating the Subscribe 2 plugin restores everything back to normal.

    Please could you help me, as I have already coded some custom css for the Subscribe 2 widget and I don’t find any other plugin allowing custom css for the widget.

    Also, the “Comments Evolved for WordPress” plugin that I use is messed up a bit at the top.

    http://s28.postimg.org/42gzaazi5/white_comments.png – check the image, it seems the code in your css is causing them to white. You can create a class in your css -> classname p { color: black;} and call it in subscribe2 widget settings.

    Hi,

    Simply activating the plugin causes my comments to mess up. I don’t need to add the widget to reproduce the issue, leave aside putting custom CSS for it. So issue with my custom CSS can be ruled out.

    Anyways, I tried out the CSS you pointed out, it makes no difference. Still the issue is there.

    Also, other than just the color, my comments header section is messed up as well.

    I have deactivated the plugin because it’s my live site. If you need me again to activate the plugin to check the issue please let me know.

    Hi anupam,

    we are unable to reproduce the error. To find the cause,
    1. delete readygraph by going to readygraph-app page and on bottom-right.
    2. check whether it solves your problem by clearing your cache
    3. under classes/class-s2-admin.php, comment out line 151.
    4. check if it solves.

    Let us know what you find.
