Activation error – Invalid PHP version

    When trying to activate the plugin, I get this error message:
    WordPress GDPR › Error
    Invalid PHP version
    You must be using PHP 5.6.0 or greater.
    I’ve checked the PHP version with the PHP Compatibilty Checker plugin and with my hosting company. Both report that I’m currently running PHP 7.0.
    How can I fix this?
