The problem is that I am not able to activate Woocommerce to get the system status. every time I activate it the site go down, and the only way I can do is to delete everything and start fresh.

Get in touch with your hosting provider and ask them to furnish you with PHP error logs. These logs should show the reason why you’re getting the white screen of death upon activation.
Also, how did you install WooCommerce? By adding it under plugins > add new OR via FTP?
