UPDATE:
I’ve renamed the class and got the plugin to activate. I’m just not sure that the menu or other functions will be affected by this change. Let me know.
Thanks.
Hi JP,
Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. You’re correct in renaming the class. If you rename the class you’ll also need to change the class name in one of the files that hooks into the navigation.
I will push out an update the pro version with a renamed class , name spaced appropriately, to prevent conflicts like this in future.
Thanks again for pointing out this bug!
Evan
JP,
I’ve just pushed out a v1.1 patch which should patch up the issue. We’ve appropriately namespaced the class and changed the .php file name. We’ve also added two new parameters to the shortcode, ‘rotate’ and ‘repeat’.
Once you add your license key to the support page, you should receive a notification to update the plugin via the dashboard. If you are still running into issues after updating, submit a support request from the support page and I’ll gladly go in and take a look for you. I’d like to get this issue squared away for any one else running into it with other themes.
I don’t have access to the jupiter theme so I can’t test it on my end. Hopefully altering the class will resolve the issue for you.
Thanks,
Evan
Excellent.
Thanks for the prompt fix Evan.
Will use your forum for future topics.
Thanks JP, I’m glad that helped resolve the issue for you.
And thanks for bringing that to my attention, I probably wouldn’t have come across it myself, unless I happened to use a theme running the same class file. I’m sure that will help prevent a lot of issues for users moving forward.
