active Edit appears on Forums page

My published site has the word “Edit” appearing on the Forum screen (and, yes, when ou click on it, it takes the viewer to the admin dashboard!). How do I get rid of that?

It only shows up for logged in users with edit permissions.

That is a tag built into the theme so you do not have to be in the backend screen to select the page/post to edit. If it bothers you you can create a child theme and remove it from the page templates.
