• Hi,

On a fresh install, the active menu item appears with black text on a solid black background.
In the original demo, it looks completely different.
Additionally, under Appearance > Customizer > Widgets, only one widget area is visible, even though multiple widget areas are clearly listed under Appearance > Widgets.
This makes editing the homepage layout very confusing.

    Kind regards!

  • Hi @apendix,

    Thank you for reaching out.

We checked your site and noticed that the configuration in the Header Builder may not be set up correctly, which is causing the colors and logo to appear differently. Please go to Customize > Header & Navigation > Builder and adjust the menu and header logo settings as needed. For more guidance, you can refer to this documentation: https://docs.themegrill.com/colormag/docs/header-builder/

Additionally, since you’ve imported the Magazine Blocks layout, you don’t need to customize your homepage content from the Widgets section. Instead, please go to your Dashboard > Pages, edit the Home page, and update the content as per your requirements.

    Best regards!
