After update from yoast seo plugin 18.3 -> 18.4 in site health status page i can see some errors on different websites (different servers).

A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 out of -1 bytes received (http_request_failed)`

    Please fix this errors.

  • Also I have found this error after updating to 18.4 version.
I fixed it temporarily by going back to 18.3

    Hey!

    Thank you for reaching out.

We are currently aware of a bug introduced in 18.4 within the new WordProof integration. We’re actively working on reverting this integration first to further optimize the integration. Our development team is hard at work to release a new version without the integration which will fix the issue at hand.

    Thank you!

    Thank you Jeroen…
Please let us know when the fixed version is available…

    Hey @gianniyounginside & @dieter93 & @giuseppebuccheri,

We just released 18.4.1 which reverts the integration with WordProof which was introduced for now. This version should no longer cause the issue with session_start(). Please update to this version and do let us know if you still encounter any issues.
