The notification still remains after 9 hours…
Hello @softfully
Thank you for using our plugin.
I am sorry to read about your issue. The upgrade process can take several hours, it depends on how many events you have in the activity log. Do you know roughly how many events you have? Or can you check what are the sizes of the activity log tables in the database?
The tables’ names are wp_wsal_metadata and wp_wsal_occurrences.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi,
Above both tables are in same size: 48.0 KiB
I use PHP 8.1
All things have the latest version installed…
Please help it as soon as possible
I love this plugin very much…
Thank you
Still, a notification shows 24 hours passed or even more…now it’s annoying and needs to fix soon

Hello @softfully
I am sorry to read that the problem persists. The next thing to do here is to see how many events did the upgrade process, check the status of the upgrade process in the cron etc.
To get all of this information can you please send us the system information file via email at [email protected]? You can get the system information file from the Help & Contact Us section in the plugin. Please make reference to this forum thread in your email.

With help of this: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/permanent-alert/
Activity log database update in progress… is now disappeared.
So let me test for 24 hours to confirm whether this trick works or not.
Hello @softfully
I am glad to read that you managed to solve the issue. So apart from the banner not showing anymore, can you confirm that all the activity log data is shown correctly and there are no “unknown” entries in the activity log?
In regards to the other plugin issue, we’ll look into it and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
