Activity Stream Like Feature

I have been searching for a way to install a voting feature in my buddypress activity stream, one similar to the website highdeas.com. If I could install some type of system that filters out the highest voted updates to a new stream that would be ideal. But without asking too much, a simple voting feature for the activity stream would be nice. Do you know how I could go about doing this? I have already searched through hundreds of plugins.
