Issue has returned where the expiration date/time is incorrect. We save all our ads to expire 1 minute before minute so 23:59 in the edit ad screen and then on the dashboard it would show as 11:59pm. After the recent update all the existing ads are now showing set to expire at 6:59pm in the dashboard and 18:59pm in the edit screen.

Version installed: Advanced Ads 2.0.11, Advanced Ads Pro 3.0.7

I’ve found if we go edit the ad, change the expiration time to the correct time and update, the dashboard will show the correct time again. With about 70 existing and scheduled ads, this is quite inconvenient.

  • Hello there,

The recent change was a display-only fix to prevent any expiry date-time issue in future:

    • The database still stores expiry times in UTC (unchanged).
    • When the plugin reads the expiry date, it now converts it to your local timezone for display.
    • No database values were altered—timestamps remain exactly the same.

I’d recommend checking with the WP Crontrol plugin to confirm the actual scheduled expiry times. You should see that the stored times haven’t changed and your ads will still expire as expected.

For ads created before this fix, the display may look different, but once they naturally expire and new ads are created, you’ll see the correct times reflected consistently.

    Best regards,
